The company is owned entirely by Kevin N. Hedges, the Managing Partner. Mr. Hedges directs 100% of the activities for the firm and oversees every client relationship personally.

Kevin N. Hedges, Managing Partner – Short Overview

Kevin N. Hedges has been in the Finance Industry over eleven years, and has already built a successful Financial Planning, Investment and Insurance practice through previous roles. He has worked for Merrill Lynch, Private Client Group, been a Corporate Banker and Operations Specialist for Citigroup (the largest FI in the world and Most Profitable Company in 2002) and a Private Client Investment Advisor and Financial Planner for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Over the past six years, Kevin has developed a successful financial planning, investment and insurance practice through AXA, ranked the World’s Largest Insurance Company in 2007 by Fortune Magazine.

 
Kevin N. Hedges has spent much of his time over the past seventeen years accumulating friends and business contacts while working all over the world. Having lived in, worked in, and visited many international business hubs such as China, Senegal in West Africa, Buenos Aires in Argentina, Paris in France, Hong Kong, London in England, Sydney in Australia, Boston, Chicago and Miami in the USA, he has developed an inter-continental business acumen and global network of contacts.
 
Kevin holds a B.A. International Trade and Languages degree (fluent in French and Spanish). He has a comprehensive understanding of macro-economics, micro-economics, business structure, and how to analyze wealth protection strategies and guaranteed products.
 
Kevin N. Hedges, Managing Partner is currently studying his CFA Level 1. He holds the following qualifications in addition to over 12 years of global financial experience.

 

  • Certificate in Retirement Planning  - The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA.
  • B.A. with Honors : International Trade and Languages (French & Spanish), University of Portsmouth, UK.

Kevin N. Hedges – Comprehensive Overview

Kevin has been highly focused on the investment and finance industry in the USA for well over a decade. He has an articulate understanding of financial planning, financial products and strategies. Kevin worked previously for AXA Advisors LLC, Morgan Stanley, Citibank, Grange Securities and Merrill Lynch.
 
Kevin resigned from his position at Citibank (in Sydney Australia) in May 2002 in order to relocate back to the USA. At Citibank, Kevin was accountable for delivering structured finance products to corporate clientele, and managing departmental projects. This involved absorbing credit risk ratings of companies in the Asia-Pacific and US region, liaising daily on a global basis with corporate client CFOs, Relationship Managers, Legal, Compliance, Credit, Money Market and the Trading Floor. Major accomplishments included spearheading the reorganization of the bank guarantee procedure, including direct debit billing, legal documentation and compliance reviews. He also championed the reconciliation project of Citibank USA and Citibank Australia bank guarantee risk.
 
During a project assignment at Grange Securities Ltd. (Sydney), Kevin was exposed to all aspects of the Australian investment industry. This included working with bond / equity traders in the dealing room, researching Australian equities, analyzing unlisted Australian investments, property and fixed interest investments, and international equities / funds. As a result, this gave him a broader understanding of the ASX, and its related components. During the administration of client files, financial strategies / plans, and compliance information, Kevin absorbed the fundamentals of financial planning in Australia. The mechanics of client investment portfolios, tax saving methods, gearing, superannuation (and its regulations) were also key to the position.
 
Kevin's role at Merrill Lynch Private Client Group (Miami) exposed him to all aspects of finance in the USA. He helped every FC maximize business and production. Administration, research and analysis (technical and fundamental), managing client relationships, equity trades, option trades, report writing and project management were all part of a routine day. This gave him a comprehensive understanding of the entire investment industry, and its functionality. Working alongside top producers and their teams taught him how to understand a client's financial needs and goals. While managing various Merrill Lynch campaigns Kevin learned how to evaluate company products and relate to clients on a financial wavelength, both with consistent success. The 1999 and 2000 Merrill Lynch Online campaigns were a great success, and helped increase the office ranking by nineteen places. He managed to sign up over 500 clients for retention services, using his language, IT and sales skills.
 
Outside of Finance, in the latter half of 2002, Kevin undertook some project work in UK Sales and Business Development for an IT training company. This involved consulting IT needs on a business to business level. Significant results were achieved with such clientele as Virgin, House of Fraser, Ministry of Defense, and HSBC among others.
 
Kevin N. Hedges is outgoing and open minded. With his knowledge of financial products, corporate structure, global business, administration skills, industry degree and training at Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, and AXA, Kevin N.
